Fashion and entertainment centre Rīga Plaza has received international award Best Buy Award for quality services at affordable prices. Based on a vote by residents, the award has been presented to Rīga Plaza by the Swiss-based International Certification Association (ICERTIAS).

The Association bestows the award in this category on companies that receives the highest score from survey participants in terms of best value for money.

“We are pleased that our targeted investments in attracting new cooperation partners have borne fruit. This year, we have opened the most powerful EV charging station, Ignitis ON, designated family parking spots, expanded the food court by opening the first self-service Lido restaurant, pizzeria Le Tresor Pizza, Tasty Tails restaurant, bubble tea stand Formosa, and the largest New Yorker and HalfPrice stores in Latvia. In the coming month, a completely renovated H&M shop and an expanded NordBaby shop will reopen. The recognition we have received is an incentive to further develop and improve our services, introducing new innovations and adapting solutions to the changing market requirements in order to consistently provide top quality services to our customers," says Summus Capital Management Board Member Hannes Pihl.

ICERTIAS determined the winner of the Best Buy Award using the CAWI – DEEPMA methodology, an online questionnaire with open-ended questions. Respondents were asked to name a shopping centre with more than 50 different shops that, according to their personal experience or experience of their loved ones, offered the best value for money in the Latvian market. The survey was carried out this past April by interviewing 1,200 residents of Latvia.
